Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter Review

Standard

For those of you who want to share the digital tunes stored on your phone or tablet via your existing sound system but don’t want to be tied down by wires, here’s the perfect gadget for you guys – the Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter.

Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter-GeekEye

It’s name pretty much says it all. This pint-sized beaut Bluetooth-ifies what would otherwise be your typical non-wireless sound system/speaker.

And the best part, using it is as easy as 1-2-3.

Take your pick – AUX for 3.5mm cables or RCA for…well…RCA cables

Just (1) power this bad boy up by plugging in the power adapter, (2) hook up your sound system or speaker to this small wonder using either a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable or the bundled RCA to 3.5mm cable, and lastly, (3) tap on the top (and lone) button with the huge Bluetooth logo…and that’s it! You’re good to go!

The Bluetooth logo says it all – tap to connect/pair

Once paired, you can now enjoy your personal beats on your swanky Bluetooth-enabled sound system that costs less to set up than buying a brand new Bluetooth speaker.

And depending on what you’ve got, it’ll most likely even sound better than most (if not all) Bluetooth speakers out now too.

And the connection is solid too. I managed to walk around the room with the phone in my pocket without it skipping a beat. I’ve tried a number of Bluetooth speakers before, and most of them faltered when I hid the phone in my pocket.

Now, on to the all important part, pricing. Just how much is it?

SRP of the Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter is just Php1,900.

Yeah yeah, I know. It can be a bit more affordable. But given how well it performs, that’s not such a bad asking price, if you ask me.

This one, of course, will only be enticing to those who’ve already got an existing audio rig. For those who don’t, you’ve still got the option of just getting a pair of Bluetooth speakers, which will allow you more mobility.

But if audio quality is key to you and portability is not a top priority, I’d recommend you just save your money and buy a decent sound system/speaker and the Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter, than spend it on what will most likely be an inferior pair of wireless speakers.
