Nokia C5 gets Announced, Cseries now official

It was last year when rumors first surfaced that Nokia was coming out with a brand new Cseries. Fast forward to the present, the Cseries is now official with the announcement of the Nokia C5.

The Nokia C5 features a 2.2-inch QVGA display, 3.2-megapixel camera, HSDPA connectivity, stereo IHF speakers, 3.5-mm jack, and will ship with a 2GB microSD card as part of the package. It also come loaded with the latest version of Ovi Maps with free turn-by-turn navigation, access to the Ovi Store, and runs on the Symbian S60 platform.

The Nokia C5 hasn’t been announced locally yet, but is scheduled to begin shipping to select markets in Q2 (hopefully, including the Philippines). SRP is pegged at €135 or roughly P8450.00. You can read the full press release here.
