The Nokia 6760 Slide (known as the Nokia 6790 Surge in Canada and the US) isn’t one of the more glamorous handsets in the market today, but it does provides those working on a limited budget a new option if what their looking for is a messaging device.
It comes with a 2.4-inch display, 3.15-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0, 3.6Mbps HSDPA connectivity, GPS, a slide-out full QWERTY keypad, and runs on the S60 platform. Its SRP is just P14,000 making it a viable option for frugal buyers.
At that price point though, I’d still pick the Nokia E63 since it’s cheaper and comes with WiFi already. Head on past the break for the full press release.
