Sony Philippines officially launched today the Sony Vaio X, the thinnest Vaio laptop to date. Measuring only 13.9mm thick, this baby hands down beats the Macbook Air in terms of sheer thinness.

However, its ultra-thin size does come at a price. Running on an Intel Atom processor complemented by an Intel GMA 500 graphics chips, and a starting price of P69,999, the Vaio X has got to be the second most expensive Intel Atom-based system next to the Vaio P.

We just got a new Toshiba NB200 netbook last week, and I must say, I’m liking it so far. For today, I’ll just be writing my quick impressions on it while your providing you guys with a handful of snapshots.

Being that this is a netbook, the now more or less standard Intel Atom (N280 1.66GHz) processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, WiFi, Bluetooth, webcam, and Windows XP OS are all there.

The HP Mini 2140 has quietly sneaked into the Philippine market, and is now available at Complink for just P23,950.00.

I found out about this courtesy of Yugatech, and I’m sure, those looking into a getting a well-feature netbook that’s worth investing in will certainly be delighted with this news. Not only is the HP Mini 2140 one of the better designed netbooks in the market today, it’s more affordable price makes it an absolute steal.
So, will you be getting an HP Mini 2140 soon?
